- 16 GB RAM minimum (32 GB recommended)
- Apple Silicon on a Mac (M1 or newer; Intel Macs are not supported), or a modern x64 CPU on Windows and Linux
- English speech only, for now
Local AI, included
Safeclip downloads its on-device models the first time you open it (about 142 MB for speech, about 2 GB for the local AI, from Hugging Face). No terminal, no extra installs. After that, transcription and notes run on your computer, offline too.

Install and open
Open the installer and start. No account needed to use Safeclip. You only sign in to buy Founding. No card, no trial clock.

Let onboarding do the setup
A short guided setup enables your microphone and downloads the local AI models. Once they are on your computer, transcription and notes run there.

Capture your first idea
Record a voice note, drop in a file, or paste a link. Safeclip transcribes it locally and adds it to your searchable library.
Do I need an account?
No account needed to use Safeclip. You only sign in to buy Founding: $99 once, for life, sold until December 31, 2026. It is tied to your account, not to one computer, so you can use it on up to 3 computers. After that, Safeclip Pro is $144 a year, or $249 once.
