What counts toward the 10 free exports?
What formats does it export?
Clips and audiograms are rendered as video files on your computer. Transcripts export as TXT, SRT or VTT, and notes as Markdown.
Can I import a YouTube URL or an episode link?
Yes. Paste a link and Safeclip fetches the media and its thumbnail from that site. Transcription and clip rendering then happen on your computer. The media is not uploaded anywhere.
Does the clip or audiogram leave my computer?
Not unless you share it. The file is rendered on your computer and saved to your disk.
Which languages does it understand?
English only today. The speech models Safeclip ships with (Whisper base.en, and small.en if you choose it) are English models. If your conversations are in another language, Safeclip is not the right tool yet.
